ATN Reading Lists

URL: http://atn-reading-lists.wikispaces.com/

Description: ATN Reading List was started in 1996 as a librarian collaborative project called All Together Now. The fiction lists (primarily targeted for k-12) originally were published as an html site (still available at http://nancykeane.com/rl) but have now evolved to a Wiki. Moving to the Wiki format allowed the 1,300 lists on the original Web site to be easily updated/edited/expanded by librarians all over the world (taking the libriarian collaborative idea to a whole new level!) Navigate the wiki by clicking on the following categories: Authors lists, Genre, Professional Reading, Read Alikes, Read Alouds, Readership Targeted Lists, School Subjects, Themes, and Values.

Debra says: I spend most of my time answering academic reference questions or doing medical reference, so I am grateful for this site when I receive requests for k-12  school topics or readers advisory for kids. I also appreciate the suggestions for recommended reads if you liked certain other titles or authors.
