PDF Creator is a free, open source alternative to Adobe's PDF Writer product. It contains many of the same features as PDF Writer, but with none of the cost. I've found it to be especially helpful when I need to e-mail a large PDF document that's just too big to put into one e-mail. Using PDF Creator, it is possible to easily slice up the PDF into smaller chunks and send them individually. Interested? Download here.
